Swerve has been booked fine. The defense, is against Christian on the surface. But the defense in and of itself is against the elite. I feel like this is gonna be leading to him verses elite hangman. Culminating in the real elite vs team aew of Omega, Swerve, King, and hopefully Mox, and Osprey.

People seem to be forgetting... Mercedes hasn't been cleared... which is why she hasn't done anything or taken any bumps. She was only cleared a week ago

IWC likes to overreact about everything these days. I would go one better and would suggest that Christian should win the title, so that there is feeling within the community that Swerve was treated unfairly, hence making him get more over and come across as an underdog. Coming off losing a title to Adam Copeland, Christian can't lose any more title matches, his stock is dropping with every loss, plus he lost his last two matches for World title and losing another would hurt his credibility.

I would have switched Bron's and Ilja's places in the card. Bron creating feud in the KOTR, maybe already getting beef with Drew in the original plans and with Jey in what we got. And then Ilja would be the one pissed off at management for not putting him in the KOTR because he wants to face Gunther, all the while he can murder one person a week. That'd be a cool build, imo.

Guys I know it’s hard to admit, but AEW is the problem right now not necessarily Swerve or Christian. It’s that simple in my opinion. The product is just not as hot as it used to be. Don’t understand the confusion of why things don’t click. With that said, I am looking forward to Double or Nothing.

The reason the Swerve/Christian feud isn't working is because Christian is coming directly off of losing the TNT Title. It means the World title is beneath the TNT Title. It feels at this point like the TNT Title is their WWE Title and the AEW Title is their Intercontinental Title. Still good but not the top priority for anyone, which is a huge disservice to Swerve.

Maybe they're sitting on the new deal til All In. Biggest show of the year for them.

I think the Bucks put themselves in Anarchy in the arena as the main event, over ruling Swerve - and HANGMAN returns to give The Heelite the victory leading to him confronting Swerve on the next Dynamite telling him even once he (Swerve) finally became champion, he still sits lower on the card than Hangman

Anarchy is taking away two title matches, with the tag and continental champs being involved. So wouldn't surprise if it was a smaller card than usual. I'd expect hook/jericho again to be added. trent and orange could be another.

Oli's correct. They definitely revamped Mercedes' pov/approach around two weeks or so ago. It's obvious. They saw that whatever she was doing wasn't working nor getting over. She's settling in now and this feels like a better fit. She's leaning into her natural heel charisma and gives her something to build on.

Some ppl don't remember, Mercedes was a face and Willow was the heel when they wrestled at New Japan Resurgence. From the opening bell. The crowd was popping because it was the main event before the bell rang, both ladies took it in and Mercedes went to shake Willow's hand and what should have been just a handshake. Well Willow squeezed Moné hand where Moné dropped to her knees. Willow was gloating when ever she got the heat on Mercedes and other antics were done.

I don't even like Mercedes, but Oli's harshness of her every action even mimicking the dance just doesn't even come off as comedic, it feels really weirdly targeted.

God that Dynamite was loaded, only thing off was Harley Cameron doing back to back weeks out of nowhere, but she still delivered a surprisingly good again

They made Swerve bleed and I didn't care. Don't know how AEW managed to do that.. oh yes I know because you keep overdoing the violence in matches for no real reason. It leads people to get desensitized.
